Ever met a person who is CONFIDENT in who they are? They walk into a room and light it up. They are attractive. They may not be the best looking, but we are drawn to them.
You and I know someone who for the fun of description, “wears” a bright yellow suit, a lime green shirt and red shoes, and we think he is a “total joke and clown”, but he is VERY HAPPY, very confident, and KNOWS he looks soooo good! J. And when he walks into a room, he literally lights it up, confidently shaking people’s hands with the biggest smile.
This guy is also usually successful at the things he decides to do, while we sit back, doubt ourselves, and once in a while, judge him. You see, I think what matters is not so much what others think of us, but rather what we think of ourselves
The greatest battle happens between your ears: in your mind. Our thoughts create the hugest limits and barriers to how far we can go, and yet right there in our thoughts, the greatest dreams and ideas that have changed the course of human history, have been conceived and born.
I truly believe that the greatest machine and tool I have is my mind before anything else. This is why I MUST protect what goes into my mind.
*How do I see myself?
*How much do I truly THINK I can do?
*I’m I more aware of my limitations or my strengths?
Someone I know recently said “Capacity is a state of mind. How much we can do depends on how much we think we can do. When you really believe you can do more, your mind thinks creatively and shows you the way.” How true!
Today, take time to “serve a healthy meal to your mind”, and improve your thoughts, first, towards yourself. Read something enlightening. Listen to something inspiring. Speak good things over yourself.
Change your thoughts, especially about yourself. Change your life.
